Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives...let it be incorruptable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 1 Peter 3:1

May 3, 2008.

My ex husband Headbutted me in front of the children, nearly breaking my nose. A year later, I still have pain and will have surgery to try to help some of it. That is nothing compared to the damage done to my children. My ex husband had violence in his family, but that family tradition stops with my boys. They will not be men who have anger issues or disrespect for women. Every night my boyfriend I tuck my sweet boys in and we pray against what Satan wants in their lives….ANGER….VIOLENCE…...PRIDE. We ask God to make them men of integrity that stand up against this kind of stuff…not stand for it. My faith in God is stronger than my parenting skills and their fathers sins. Praying for our children (especially children of divorce) is key. Take a stand against DV, if you know of ANY woman or child being hurt….it is your business. Help them get safe.

The more women I talk to that have a similar situation to mine say the same thing about their men…..They are smooth. How scary that so many can be fooled. Please ask the Holy Spirit to show you if you are being fooled. Ask God to open your eyes to deceivers. All going along with them does in enable.
