We know we know. It has been a long time since we posted anything. It has been a crazy and busy month for both of us. We know…..no excuse! We have had many new readers and we want to welcome you all! Thank you for your e-mails, prayers, and encouragement. Also, we appreciate your stories. We grieve with you dear sisters. But we hold on to the hope and the promise that God is at work. We have really struggled being content. We always think when we get to the next “phase” we will be better. Miriam and I have come back to…..MANY TIMES…….that there will never be an end. What we have been through will forever be a scar. But God CAN and WILL make us whole. We are told to be content in all circumstances. That is HARD! But we know we can live out a reckless and restless life if we do not learn to rest in the Lord and be content where He has us. This verse always helps me. I took the translation from the Massage.
1 Corinthians 7:17
“Where you are right now is God’s place for you. Live and obey and love and believe right there.”
I love it. It reminds me to CHILL and trust that if I am following God and seeking Him I cannot get off the highway of holiness. He leads me, guides me, and will always make the way clear. It is not about being on an easy path……just a clear one.
