ANGER IN 2007

We have done our best to protect ourselves from bitterness and hard hearts. We know that God requires us to forgive. We know that un-dealt with anger and bitterness ultimately ruins us and limits the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. So we lay this on the altar as often as we need to. Very often. Very. Often. But, we do have our Alanis Morrissette days. Or Fiona Apple. Some days we need a good angry song. And then we get over it.
For the new year, we are resolving to really let go of our anger and learn how to walk in grace and forgiveness. It is a lofty resolution, but one we intend to keep (unlike the usual exercise regimens, books to read or random skills to acquire). So on the dawn of 2008, we are letting it go.
